Verdict
Dave Dexter is penalised for winning a Listed race at Ayr but will appreciate the ground. Heartwarming and Kodyanna have come up short in Listed company but San Donato has improved since beaten in the Chesham at Ascot in June. Garrus and Canton Queen were both outmatched in Group 2 races on their respective latest starts at Newbury and Newmarket and it remains to be seen how maiden winner Breath Of Air fares at this level. But BARBILL won a valuable sales race at the Curragh before placing over the minimum trip in the Cornwallis at Newmarket. He’s one of the more exposed but boasts the highest official rating back over 6f today and should be in the mix.
