Verdict
The shortlist contains Smart Street and Wolds Way, but the vote goes to Graphex. The Alan King-trained Graphex has plenty going for him, while Smart Street, from a stable that does well in this sphere, looks a big danger. Wolds Way catches the eye as he is trained by Tim Easterby, so watch the betting. Of the others, Tooting and Amadores have more to like than many on breeding, while despite being well-bred, Chateau sold for a lot less at two than he did as a foal and he needs to improve on his debut effort to feature here. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Graphex.
