Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

This won't take much winning but few of these arrive in any kind of form. SHORT TAKES is an exception, winning a four-runner handicap at Sedgefield last week by 24 lengths. He stays this longer trip and is difficult to oppose off only a 2lb higher mark. Halifax hasn't shown much since joining Tony Newcombe but Kilflora won at Market Rasen before finishing tailed off at Leicester and Parc Des Princes would have each-way claims if fully wound-up. Groomed has won over fences and might be the pick of the remainder.
