    Verdict

Mr Cripps landed a 1m5f maiden at Lingfield in August 2015 and though a disappointing favourite on his reappearance may have needed the run. This trip should hold no fears and winning hurdler Ardamir is guaranteed to stay and has looked in need of this sort of test in his three runs on the all-weather this year. FIRE JET ran very well behind Grumeti at Wolverhampton on his reappearance and, as he has a bit more scope than his main rivals, looks the one to be on. Handiwork looks best of the remainder.
