In depth

Verdict

MALACHIM MIST, who won at Goodwood before finishing second in a much hotter contest at Pontefract, is likely to be a warm order for this despite giving weight to his three rivals. One Penny Piece may have a bit of scope but only won a seller on her debut at Yarmouth, though looks better than a plater. Lady Frances has finished tailed off since winning a Wolverhampton maiden in April and Irondale Express also needs to improve on a couple of ordinary runs in maidens at Redcar.
