Verdict

Big Water has been raised 5lb since scoring at Carlisle and that may have opened the door for SHADRACK to resume winning ways. The grey came up short at Aintree on his reappearance but wasn't disgraced. He'll strip fitter today and will appreciate this easier surface. Billy Cuckoo has been well below par in two recent starts but Premier Grand Cru will have learned plenty from his fourth at Carlisle and has more scope than Tregaro. Shooters Wood won a Class 2 handicap for Paul Nicholls in 2012 off a higher mark but then lost his way and makes his debut for a new stable after a break today.
