      Verdict

      Waiting For Richie, a close second at York last time, was disappointing on soft ground behind Incus over course and distance at the start of the month so recent rain is not ideal. Injam will handle any give in the ground, though didn’t impress over this trip at Hamilton after winning over 2m at York and probably has a bit to find with stablemate Silva Eclipse. Itlaaq is 6lb higher than when winning this 12 months ago but shouldn’t be ignored and BRAES OF LOCHALSH is also short-list material. In good form at Ayr recently, Jim Goldie’s charge won off a 5lb higher mark over track and trip last year and Sean Mooney takes off a further 7lb. Fire Jet had Itlaaq behind when winning at Nottingham last month and then went close at Sandown so is another to consider.
