Verdict

PICTURE THIS is the pick in the finale with Thetwincamdrift and Bench Warrent others to make the shortlist. Paul Nicholls' charge appeared badly in need of the race on reappearance but had shaped well before tiredness took its toll. He should have come on for that effort and can win a race that lacks overall quality. Thetwincandrift has been the subject of strong support on his last two starts. Well regarded in Ireland, he is one to note in the market. Bench Warrent fell when favourite for a maiden hurdle at Fontwell. This winning pointer should be suited by the step up to three miles. Sphinx was a dour stayer on the flat though has had training troubles. Ferdy Murphy had a winner on Friday so expect a bold show from The Hollinwell. Normally produced an encouraging first run for Alison Thorpe and may have improved for that outing. Finban makes a rules debut and can go well at a price. Broken Beau was quietly supported at longer odds last time out though his trainer could be in better form at present. Picture This can post victory.
