        Verdict

        Top weight may not be enough to stop Solo Flight on ground that will suit and he is fancied to lead them home; possibly with Rondelet and Opening Ceremony giving him the most to do. That said, a bold bid form Tedsdale Mac cannot be ruled out as he is holding his form really well and he could easily sneak into the frame if he runs his usual race. Les Arcs is another to monitor for signs of support as he is in good form at present and looks worth another try over this tip. However, he would not want the ground to be too fast and he may have to settle for a minor role. Krugerrand will find this an easier assignment than the one he faced on the first day at Goodwood and should appreciate the ease in grade. He has been hard to win with and looks weighted up to his best. The same comments apply to Intricate Web, who has a habit of popping in when least expected. However, they may all find Solo Flight too determined a character to deal with as he returns to a track that has brought the best out of him in the past. The Hughie Morrison yard could hardly be in better shape at the moment and a bold bid is anticipated from Solo Flight, whose rider's claim should ease the burden slightly as things unfold.
