In depth

Verdict

Heist was engaged in the 5.45 at Bellewstown last night and is better over fences. Rashaan led for a long way in a top handicap at Galway but has never attempted a trip this far nor has Wakea, who may need a confidence booster after falling the last twice. Cap D'aubois didn't have much to do to score at Tipperary and was well beaten in a Grade B handicap at Galway so the vote goes to DEDIGOUT despite an absence since April. A Grade 2 winner over timber, his last two runs came over fences but he'd been competing at a much higher level than this earlier and will hopefully be ready to roll. I'm An Izz Wizz has a couple of recent victories over fences to his credit but his hurdles form is a long way short of these.
