Verdict

FELIX DESJY won a point-to-point by 15l and made a winning bumper debut at Punchestown when coming home 10l clear. He has to be the selection though Holding Pattern made an equally impressive bumper debut at Thurles and looks certain to get into the action. Cask Mate made his bumper debut in a very strong event at Punchestown in April and showed the benefit with a very impressive success when well supported at Ballinrobe so he's another who can go well. Peacock's Secret was well beaten over hurdles last month and though he's won a bumper he'll do well to concede weight to these smart rivals.
