He had Sea The Lion over five lengths behind in fifth and has nothing to fear from him but Barbados finished in front of him when runner-up in the Group 3 Vintage Crop over this trip won by his stable companion Twilight Payment so looks the obvious main threat. Rakan beat Barbados in a three-runner Listed contest at Leopardstown last summer but has only had three subsequent starts and has never raced over this trip.
