Verdict
Cave Court completed a double over hurdles then repeated the process over fences, all over much shorter. He is 15lb higher than his last victory so this looks much tougher. Menindee has won three times during the summer and though disappointing when sent to Cheltenham last month will have found the ground too quick. Harvey‘s Quay showed his liking for a stamina test when scoring over the trip at Listowel with Avec Espoir a close third. The latter has won subsequently so there should be little between them again. Winning point-to-pointer Clonmeen has never won though went close at Fairyhouse but this can go to REDDYS ISLAND (NAP), a winner between the flags who was making her handicap debut over fences when a close second to Greenway Machine, who was receiving 30lb, at Downpatrick.
