Verdict

Recent course and distance winner Authinger will be popular again. Baresi has the class to make light of his welter burden and won't be far away if back to his best while Slieveardagh doesn't look badly treated nowadays. HOWWOULDUNO has been in good form lately and makes his handicap debut over the larger obstacles. He makes more appeal than veterans Your Busy and Fisher Bridge and gets the nod. Rodriguez still has a bit of scope but has been out of sorts lately.
