In depth
Verdict
Jelara, a daughter of Milan, Dolly Dancer with Patrick Mullins booked and Arion Sky, from the powerful Elliott yard, make most appeal of the newcomers and need to be tracked in the market. However, many of those to have run have shown more than enough to suggest a contest of this nature is within their power. Backsheesh was perhaps slightly low-key when a beaten Ballinrobe favourite but it was still a fair effort and she is in the mix while Late Again is progressing nicely for a yard which has made an impact in such contests this year. Lady V is a possible improver but GONE DANCIN showed pleasing progression from her first run when a close-up fourth here in May and can come on again with Finian Maguire retaining the ride.
