Verdict
SAPONARA landed a monster gamble in real style at Kilbeggan 13 days ago and is taking to fend off Point Of Light and Time Machine. Dessie Hughes' son of Key Of Luck was very impressive when winning under today's jockey on his latest start. He has obviously been showing up well at home under after some disappointing earlier efforts over timber. He loved the quick ground at Kilbeggan and as long as it stays quick he'll go well. Paul Nolan's Point Of Light may not enjoy the ground tonight but he has some nice form. His latest efforts are pretty average but first time blinkers may sharpen him up. Time Machine was the chief sufferer when the selection landed a gamble on his last run. This former decent flat horse may improve and get closer to the Hughes runner but realistically we can't see him turning the tables
