In depth

Verdict

Longclaw jumped well and scored convincingly at Roscommon but this looks a tougher contest and he's penalised. Stable companion Sister Eliza will be receiving 18lb with her rider's claim taken into consideration and made a promising start at Ballinrobe while Charlie Bassett has been placed in five of his last six starts on the Flat. SCHOLASTIC arrives in excellent form having won two of her last three on the level including a comfortable victory at Tramore a couple of weeks ago so she gets the vote to make a successful debut over timber.
