Verdict

PEACOCKS SECRET has won three of his ten starts over fences but fallen in two of his last six. He carried a big weight when making all in a Punchestown handicap last time and will take some catching. Monatomic was a very unlucky loser on his chasing bow at Tramore where he fell at the last when clear. He hasn't quite fulfilled expectations so far though found 2m4f stretching his stamina at Fairyhouse last time. Stoneford is in the same ownership and the winning bumper/hurdler has raced over much longer trips in his two starts over fences including at Navan last time. Frankly All Talk hadn't shown much until runner-up in that latter event but both may require further than this. My Manekineko, three times a hurdles winner, had his jumping problems over fences but ran easily his best race to date at Fairyhouse a fortnight ago when runner-up to Dylrow, who then had D'bru Na Boinne behind on the same track on Saturday.
