Verdict
Envol Pierji won on very heavy ground here in February so conditions are coming in his favour. Clondaw Secret was having only his second start over fences when narrowly beaten at Gowran and makes his handicap debut. Stable companion WESTSTREET looked a superb prospect in the UK back in 2019 but lost his way. He had a spin over hurdles at Limerick earlier this month and that should have put him spot-on for this. Hoke Colburn was beaten a neck by Father Jed at Listowel and a 3lb pull can enable him to turn the tables while Shanroe Al C has surprisingly been left on the same mark after scoring at Perth in August. Karl Thornton's charge was in double-winning form at this time a year ago and should get into contention.
