Verdict

Ben Button's close second behind Moylisha Tim in a Cork Grade 3 in November is the stand-out form here but he's come nowhere near that level subsequently. His 44l defeat by Emma Beag at Sligo on Thursday was no doubt down to the ground conditions but he remains a frustrating sort. The four-year-old NIGHT GENERATION hasn't been the most consistent but the three-times Flat winner has more scope than these rivals and is handed the vote. Recent point-to-point winner Sam King started favourite in a handicap over timber at Limerick though didn't run as well as expected but today's much longer trip should be in his favour. Benarty Hill has had 16 runs over hurdles without winning and was beaten a long way when runner-up over track and trip last time.
