Verdict

Gordon Elliott has acquired Better Part Of Me after his victory in a point-to-point last month and he's expected to go well. Cut Loose showed enough promise on his Roscommon debut to be sent off favourite at Limerick but was never travelling and was beaten a long way. NEWS FOR PASCAL won twice between the flags and made a very encouraging return to Rules with a close fourth in a much stronger race than this at Fairyhouse last month. That should have done him good and he should prove good enough. Mount Corkish Girl did better on her second start at Wexford and her allowance can see her in the frame.
