Lake Malawi stepped up to 2m4f at Punchestown and produced a fine performance to chase home Everyday Everyhour, who just outstayed him. He'll be fancied to go one better but SOPHIE'S WORLD has always looked potentially useful without quite living up to her reputation. Twice a winner on the Flat, she was an odds-on chance when narrowly beaten at Punchestown a year ago and can start making up for lost time. Atlantic Breaker had shown virtually nothing before tried in blinkers on this track last month where he chased home Twilight Shadow with much better fancied rivals behind. Little Stampy completed a hat-trick at Wolverhampton at the turn of the year and showed his first sign of ability over hurdles at Ballinrobe last month.
