Verdict
Le Grande Chene won here on his second start for Gordon Elliott, when Banana Flambe was fourth, before finding the company too hot at Punchestown - the UK import has every chance in this. El Grande attempts to step up from hunter chases to make his mark in handicaps. Jim Dreaper's charge still has plenty of scope and should again beat Tiger Sam. Down Time has won over hurdles but has yet to show much aptitude for jumping fences, though is only a five-year-old. ROYAL CHIEF looks the type to better over fences second time around after a good run over hurdles at Tramore last month off a 5lb higher mark - Adam O'Neill's claim is a definite plus. Finea's run in the previous race should be a pointer to the chances of recent course and distance winner Bills Official.
