In depth

Verdict

Kalico Kim, just beaten over hurdles at Kilbeggan at the start of the month, races from out of the handicap here but that is counterbalanced by Ryan Treacy's 7lb claim. Gonebeyondrecall won a hunter chase at Listowel earlier this month but this drop in distance might not suit and Hero De Villeneuve, twice a winner at Bangor last month, is more interesting back over fences. KING HIGH tackles fences for the first time in two years but has a good strike rate over the larger obstacles and has shaped nicely on the Flat recently. He could be the answer to this ahead of Romanesco and the returning Back Off Mate.
