Verdict
Clondaw Hollow made all for an easy victory over shorter here in August and ran well on the Flat at Navan last week. Stable companion Ally Cay landed a 2m3f maiden in convincing fashion here then was beaten a short head over an extended 2m4f at Bellewstown. Gordon Elliott is also double-handed with Mars Harper in better form than Longacre Square while New Society, five-times a winner on the level, is capable of winning this at his best. New Ross has been well beaten in handicaps since landing a Punchestown maiden while GATEAU DE MIEL only scrambled home over the track and trip last month. The latter was having only his third start over timber and made all but normal progress and more restraining tactics can see him complete a double.
