In depth
Verdict
Fearachain is penalised for his victory in a Listowel bumper last month but he made a satisfactory debut over hurdles at Navan a couple of weeks later and should get into the frame. Crown Theatre's first two starts over timber suggested his first victory would be imminent but he hasn't done quite as well as expected, though one of his subsequent starts was over fences. He makes a quick reappearance after finishing runner-up to Old Castletown at Tramore a week ago and good going should see him there at the finish. ALILEO never won in 10 starts on the Flat and he hasn't covered himself in glory over hurdles. He looked certain to win at Clonmel a couple of weeks ago but found little when striking the front but Ruby Walsh takes over and hopefully can persuade his mount to hang on this time. The four-year-old Snaidhm could prove best of the remainder.
