Mackeys Forge has gone close on several occasions and produced some very good efforts but he's still a maiden over fences after 16 starts and looks vulnerable. Usuel Smurfer won over hurdles here in June and has shown enough promise in two starts over fences to suggest he'll be winning soon. Jimmy The Hat showed little on his chasing debut at Tipperary but will have come on for the experience though it's PICKAPOCKETORTWO, the only one of these to be making his chasing bow, who can come out on top as he's been lightly raced and has the scope to do better. He only just holds Ipsos Du Berlais on hurdles form from two years ago but the latter has disappointed over fences.
