In depth

Verdict

Soldier At War is penalised for a maiden victory at Sligo and appears to have gone backwards. SOLDIER AT WAR made a successful debut in a Wexford bumper then made a winning start over hurdles here last month. This is a stronger race but he's progressive and can go in again. His stable also run Three Is Company, who looked a likely future winner when placed over the track and trip before a moderate run at Galway. The four-year-old Flooring Porter was an impressive winner at Bellewstown though steps up markedly in trip while Trendsetter, Nibblers Charm, Canadian Steel and Boro Tari are all in good form making this a tight looking race.
