Verdict

MR MULLINER came here with a 5lb rise for a narrow victory at Sligo but it made no difference as he easily beat today's rival The Informer, who showed the value of the form with an impressive victory at Ballinrobe last week. The former can come out on top again and looks the one to be on though winning point-to-pointer Cousin Bill is starting to find his feet over hurdles and a fast gallop would play to his strengths. Boherna Lady hasn't shown much for a long time but has dropped to such a lowly mark that it would be no shock to see her in the firing-line.
