Zaofu is comfortably the highest rated of these having won a maiden in January, though he has been very disappointing in handicaps subsequently. He has a huge weight to carry but Joseph O'Brien puts up 10lb claimer Shane Crosse to alleviate the burden. Six Silver Lane has a tremendous record around here though has been beaten in three similar events recently. CATCHY LASS, who won a similar race to this under Conor McGovern a year ago, wasn't beaten far in a decent handicap over the trip a fortnight ago when Specific Gravity was a further three lengths behind. She'd been racing over longer trips earlier and can get back to winning ways. Settle For Red is generally very consistent and will have needed last month's comeback over a trip much too short so is expected to do much better.
