Verdict

This looks much more competitive than the first division. Fleeting Moment scored over the C&D in February and is 2lb lower though he hasn't performed badly recently. ELUSIVE EXPRESS gets the vote despite the fact that she's yet to win on the surface. She scored at Down Royal in September and was only caught in the shadow of the post over this C&D last time and it's about time she was getting off the mark. Lady Lyrath was 4l behind on that occasion and though she's run well since she appears better suited by testing ground on Turf. That's Ours showed nothing in three maidens last year but has changed stables and made a very encouraging return to action behind Red Laser here in September. With further progress likely he has to be on the short-list along with Dark Danger, though the latter has yet to prove she stays this far.
