Duke Of Waspington was well supported when landing this a year ago despite showing little earlier. He started favourite a couple of weeks later but failed to fire and hasn't been seen since. ASANDA was stepping up to this trip for the first time a fortnight ago and stayed on strongly to be beaten just over a length behind Ragtime Red, who goes in the previous race. John Feane's filly won't need much more here and gets the nod. Yarraman was in winning form here in the spring and has to be respected off just 3lb higher but Crafty Hugo, who won comfortably over a mile here in November, was a 100/1 chance when beaten a distance over timber at Leopardstown last week. Paistiul showed a bit more dash when last seen here in October and is dropping to a winnable mark.
