Tribal Path is one of several course and distance winners and though consistent enough it's a long time since he last won. Captain Cullen scored at the Curragh in August and though he's won twice here he seems better on Turf. Bien Chase won over track and trip before a close third behind today's rival Coreczka on the sand at Laytown over a furlong shorter. The former is better off at the weights and with an extra furlong to travel can gain revenge though SILK CRAVAT (NAP) looks the one to be on. Ger Lyons' charge also won at Laytown when well supported. He had plenty in hand despite the narrow margin and should go on to better things on this surface. Storm Ryker won here in May and can't have been right when tailed off at Navan the following month.
