Verdict
Champion apprentice Dylan Browne McMonagle rides ORIONID for Joseph O'Brien and his mount failed to act on heavy going at Tipperary after a promising debut on fast going at Fairyhouse. The stable also run Faron, who raced over much further in both starts in early summer and should be suited by dropping back in trip. Zurkhana is another tackling this much shorter distance and her pedigree suggests she will be ideally suited. Moshammer, who cost 500,000gns as a yearling but only 3,000gns at the sales this summer, made a fair start for James McAuley here and his trainer will find a race for him. Eloso is 0-14 though has only been beaten a short-head a couple of times, including around here, but Collective Power and Lyra Belacqua have had their chances.
