Verdict
VINA SENA finished third in a barrier trial here behind two subsequent winners and may be good enough to land what looks a moderate maiden. His stable companion Cerro Vanguardia is better drawn and showed massive improvement from his debut to lead for a long way over track and trip last month. Michael Halford won this a year ago and Master Copy was very green on his debut so should improve a bundle. Blues Emperor is a half-brother to three winners including multiple winner Geological while The Churchill Lad cost 130,000gns and is out of a winning miler in the USA. Westernesse looks certain to improve from her opening run while Rene Artois led for a long way over 7f at Leopardstown and makes his debut on the surface.
