Robert Cowell sends the experienced Cool Sphere from the UK and he gained his only victory to date on Polytrack at Lingfield. George Cornelius came here in April and made all for a 10-length victory. The form hasn't worked out but he couldn't have won more easily, though the long absence is a concern. PHASE AFTER PHASE has come up against some smart opposition and came good with a smooth victory at Bellewstown, where there looked more to come. Runner-up True Motion is better off at the weights but seems unlikely to reverse the form. Brunelle stayed on strongly to score over 6f at Leopardstown and wasn't disgraced in a Group 3 at the Curragh next time but On Tick has had enough chances.
