Verdict

Wooster came with a strong burst to catch the consistent Nivvo in a 1m2f maiden and will be suited by the extra. The runner-up can give a boost to the form earlier on the card though a chance is taken on a return to form by RINGSIDE HUMOUR. A winner over the course and distance in April, she's dropped 15lb in the ratings due to some mixed form but looks to have a good opportunity to return to winning ways. Johann Bach is inconsistent and hasn't won since 2016 but his latest close second behind Mainicin would put him in the frame. Commander Won is in cracking form having scored three times here since October though all were at a lower level and he's up 5lb from his last victory. Kirk's Dancer is 3lb out of the handicap though her rider's claim takes care of that and she was heavily supported for a course and distance maiden a fortnight ago where she was impressive so has to be considered. Sharjah won this back in 2015 and can never be discounted at this level.
