      Verdict

      It looked a weak Listed race in which Triple Eight finished second at Tipperary early last month. He had failed to beat a horse home in two previous runs and may struggle to give 6lb to FACTUM. The Storm Cat colt followed up a promising debut fourth at Leopardstown by running the well-regarded Mawaakef to a neck at Killarney and Aidan O'Brien still has him entered for all the top end-of-season juvenile races. Stablemates Outrider and Park Avenue are already beginning to look exposed while Showboating may do better next year.
