Verdict
Inverleigh made a storming start to his career at Leopardstown before finding the much more experienced Lethal Promise, who was receiving 5lb, just too good at Fairyhouse. He was staying on over that 6f so this trip should be ideal. Klute also made a successful debut over this trip at the Curragh before finishing lame in the Group 2 Futurity won by Anthony Van Dyke on a return visit. No Needs Never landed a Down Royal maiden in July then ran an excellent race in a lucrative sales event at Doncaster where he was unlucky not to finish much closer having been denied a clear run at a crucial stage. OLD GLORY, a son of Frankel, cost E1.6m and though he probably didn't have much to beat on his debut at Naas he did it in eye-catching style and is entered in the Group 1 Futurity at Doncaster. He can take the transition to Listed company in his stride as though Black Magic Woman is the only course and distance winner in the line-up she had her limitations exposed at this grade at Leopardstown.
