Banna Boirche once raced from a mark of 106 and though nowhere near that standard nowadays showed that there was still life in him on his return from a long break three weeks ago. Specific Gravity has been alternating between the Flat and hurdles but hasn't been in the best of form. Maontri completed a four-timer at the beginning of the year and not surprisingly shot up the weights. She showed a bit more dash here a couple of weeks ago and has dropped back to a very feasible mark. Akasaka was conceding 7lb to Maontri here in February and beaten just under 2l so there's little between them at today's weights. ANTIQUUS was in superb form at this time last year but has found the going tough after her weight rise. She has done better on her last two starts and gets an opportunity to return to winning ways. Equation Of Time beat Akasaka here in February but the latter is better off at the weights.
