Black Agnes won this last year but is still 6lb higher despite not having won subsequently. Beau Satchel has won around here but is better on Turf while Reddot Express gained his only victory on the track and he's back on exactly the same mark. All The Mollies won a maiden claimer at Ballinrobe and improved to take a Listowel handicap last time though that was on very testing ground. Magwadiri didn't show much in two starts here last winter but has made good progress recently and goes on the short-list but Blankiedoodie is having his first start on the surface. Society Ranger's two career victories have been on Tapeta at Wolverhampton so a chance in a wide-open contest is taken with the front-running maiden SHAWAMI, who has dropped to a winnable mark and can hopefully hang on to his lead.
