In depth

Verdict

A chance is taken on BURREN VIEW LADY, who pops up every now and then as she did last month. She looked all over a winner when leading inside the final furlong over 7f last time but faded close home and her young rider can steer her to a tenth all-weather victory. There are numerous threats in a tough handicap including Evies Wish, who was having just her third start on the surface when landing a maiden by 7l last month. Clare Island is improving rapidly and an 8lb rise for a comfortable victory here last month is unlikely to prevent another big effort. Tidal's Baby stayed on well in that latter event but doesn't win very often while Bien Chase keeps going up in the weights without winning.
