MISS CUNNING, who is 3-14 around here, bounced back to form last month when runner-up to Mulgrove with several of these behind including fifth-placed Caesar's Comet. Sondheim was having his 14th start when producing his best run to date behind the in-form Ampeson early last month and a similar performance would see him in contention. Beleaguerment is generally consistent at this level but is 8lb higher than his last victory while Fairyhouse winner Faraah has been looking a few pounds high. The lightly-raced Haemje may have some improvement in her and she hasn't been stopping over 6f in her recent races.
