In depth

Verdict

Hareth has run very poorly over hurdles since a fair run on the level at Listowel in September. Catchy Lass has bits and pieces of form, including on this track, which in the context of this race make her an obvious threat. SCEILG has now finished runner-up in five of her dozen outings and has been narrowly beaten in her most recent starts here. It's time she was breaking her duck and she won't get a better chance. Instruct made a fair debut here in April but then floundered in heavy ground at Listowel and fell when tackling hurdles at Thurles. Punches Pious hasn't been performing badly in handicaps over a mile but was beaten a long way on his only start over tonight's trip.
