Verdict

Tyrconnell ran well over the track and trip in October before dropping back to 6f to score last month. He has no problems with the extra furlong but Danny Sheehy can't use his claim here. Kareless, who was beaten less than 2l in that latter race, was having only her sixth start so has to be considered on the revised terms. LA NOVIA had been threatening to win for some time before a comfortable victory over the course and distance fortnight ago. She's up 7lb but looks capable of defying the extra. Victorious Secret wasn't far behind in third and would go close with a similar effort while Hey Pretty bounced back to form when headed right on the line over the track and trip two weeks ago when wearing blinkers for the first time. If they have the same effect again she would have to be on the shortlist. Pipers Bomb won a nursery here a year ago and is 10lb lower.
