Verdict
Excelli went up 10lb for his victory over Twistsandturns here in October and couldn't quite follow up the following month when a close third to Maskoon and Manarov with Dove Mountain not too far away. The former just has the edge over Papabili, who scored at Laytown in September and produced another fine effort when runner-up to Manarov here last month with the in-form Skerray Rules close behind in third. In The Dark has been improving and gained his first victory when staying on strongly to beat OUR MAX (NAP) over the course and distance last month. The runner-up has a mind of his own but is 10lb better of, including Caroline Murtagh's claim, and is the selection to get his act together and gain the third success of his career.
