RASHAAN won this two years ago and has continued to win races on Turf, over hurdles and fences. He refused to race in the Grade 1 Drinmore Novice Chase last time but shouldn't have that problem from the stalls and looks better class than these. Winning bumper Chess Grand Master came here for a 1m4f maiden last month and, though finding the trip on the short side, battled on to lead close home. He'll be much better suited by tonight's distance and looks a threat. Kerosin has never proved he stays this far, even over hurdles, and his two all-weather victories have been over 1m2f. Political Policy was third in this last year and though managing to win 11 races in his career he will need to find a bit more against these.
