      Verdict

      Brazilian Song made a promising start behind Ocean Quest at the Curragh but it will be a surprise if he can hold off the O'Briens here. Alexis Zorba goes for Joseph and he cost 110,000gns as a foal and 310,000gns as a yearling. Donnacha's Belatucadros is the 16th foal of a mare who has produced eight winners, including a French 1000 Guineas winner, while BLACKBEARD cost 270,000gns and is by No Nay Never out of a 7f winner. The latter gets the nod for Ballydoyle though Joe Murphy's Static Charge is a half-brother to three winners.
