Verdict
CEALLACH (NAP), beaten a short-head in a much better race than this here in August, gained his fourth course success in October and can defy a 4lb rise. Jaafel has also won four times here and had been in fine form until a disappointing effort three weeks ago. John Alexander gained his only success over the track and trip in January but has not looked like staging a repeat while Longclaw went up 6lb for his victory here in September and could not handle the extra next time. Winning hurdler Duffle Coat is 6lb out of the handicap but Robert Whearty‘s claim takes care of most of that.
