Verdict

Joseph O'Brien has three entries and Highly Approved should make a bold bid to follow-up last month's maiden success though an 8lb rise looks a bit harsh. Stable companion Lady Godiva makes her debut for the yard after transferring from Richard Hannon and she showed improved form on her last start in a Yarmouth nursery. PATRICK JOSEPH had been going well over further and started favourite when tackling 6f a fortnight ago but, after a slow start, couldn't quite make up the ground quick enough. This is his trip and Pat Smullen can steer him home. Lady Sandy couldn't win for David Barron and has transferred to Adrian Fogarty on a low enough mark while Downtown Diva, though inconsistent, would have a chance at her best.
